·Category F1 - 自由飞类 ( Free Flight )
本项目的飞行系指运动员或助手与模型之间没有物理连接。规则中允许的项目可使用无线电遥控。
This is a flight during which there exists no physical connection whatsoever between the aeromodel and the competitor or his helper. Radio control functions are allowed only when specifically stated in the rules for the relevant class.

·Category F2 - 线操纵圆周飞行类 ( Control Line Circular Flight )
此类别是指由地面的运动员手握或栓在桩柱上的不能伸展的缆线来控制模型的飞行姿态和高度的飞行。
This is a flight during which the aeromodel is aerodynamically manoeuvred by control surfaces in attitude and altitude by the pilot on the ground by means of one or more inextensible wires or cables directly connected to the aeromodel. Devices in which the control wires or cables are held in the hand or connected to a central pivot may be used. No other means of controlling the model or the engine may be employed during the takeoff and flight except that exercised by the pilot through the line or lines.
